What an insufferable feeling to be felt, to want, almost need

something that cannot be reached. Like a teddy bear you left at your aunt's house, or a bracelet you lost at the park. Or in my case, a person. Oh how the memories flood my mind when I see a pair of brown eyes or feel the soft touch of someone's bare in mine. How your laughter still haunts me, even when I feel the toxic air swirl in my throat, hoping to forget you. A certain song, even a word reminds me of how much I still long for you. I have tried, God have I tried to forget about you, to forget about how your voice softens every time I seem upset. Or how you took time to understand and examine the reasons of my oft misuderstood behaviour. But everytime I close my eyes, hoping, praying that I don't remember you, remember what we had, it only laves me needing more of you. I am left, yearning. yearning for you every. single. day.
