The Trees and the Roses

Beautiful and powerful,

Mother Nature

Trees are dreamers,

They reach for the stars

Their branches protect us

Their leaves decorate our world like it’s a plain canvas

If you really try to connect you can feel the warm sap

You can feel the life

Roses are goddesses,

They kiss with the petals and fight with the thorns

The red is a sign

“I’ll play with your heart if you give me a chance”

She serves as a sign of love

But I think she has been burned by that before

And now she keeps her thorns out in defense just incase

We think nature is part of our world and that we are above it all

But in reality we are part of nature

And if we stopped for a minute we could see how we are just like the trees and the roses
