Watch me sail 

It’s my turn to sail

It’s not going to be easy 

But I must go

You’ve watched two go already 

It was hard, and I'm sorry

But you must watch your last 

Please don’t be nervous

I promise to catch all the wind

And avoid most of the waves

I will steer north towards my destination

Not south, to the unknown

I wish you could come with me

But you can’t

So as I sail away from the place you made home

And for this, I can’t thank you enough

Cry tears of joy

Not tears of despair

I love you, Mom and Dad

To the moon and back

And always remember

I’m just a sail away
