This is Our Town

I know it’s not much

It’s a little run down

But it’s filled with love

Times are tight

Life is rough

People say they’re always right

Others call their bluff

People see us

Then they don’t

Love courses through the dusk

And the hate won’t

People die

Babies born

Kids lie

And the old folks scorn

This is Our Town

It’s little I know

But you should listen now

It’s the life we made our home
