Notebook

Since she could remember, she never fit in,
Like a puzzle piece looking in the wrong place
She walked past the lockers,
Saw the people laughing,
Holding her notebook,
Looking at the floor,
With tears in her eyes.
She didn’t have anyone to laugh with
She goes home sad everyday
All she wants is sweet, reliable, friends
That she can laugh with.
She never feels like she is in the right place
When she gets home is sit on her beanbag
Although the only thing she has is a notebook at school,
And a beanbag at home
She always has somewhere to go
On her beanbag, she opens her notebook
And starts writing
Her mind lights up
She never feels alone when she is writing.
