Memory Pieces

I can see you hold back tears as I walk down the isle

This time not in a white dress but in a flowing blue gown

This time I am not pantomiming a bouquet of flowers

but a document of sucsess

I will come back even if at the time

we don't know when

The butterflies in my stomach are birds

I am terrified to leave my nest

and fly into the big blue sky

If I am ever sad and need to remember my past

I have memories

saved back to you

You and I fit together like a puzzle

a peice of art

The thing about puzzles

the pieces will always remember where they belong
