A Poem by Anonymous
I am from space
From Jupiter and Mars
I am from the little house on the hill
Cold, sunny, strawberry scented
I am from the bushes
Laying beside a nest of newborn bunnies
I‘m from apple orchards and hopeless romantics
From Ramona and Sherry
I’m from the constant crying and nail biting
From tooth fairies and Santa Clause
I’m from Christians (secretly an atheist)
I’m from Europe
Strawberry Shortcake, bubble gum drops
From the loss of my dear brother
The warmth of my mommy’s hugs
The letters in a box under the bed
I hold them close and Love them dear
