A Poem by Jackson D

What do you do when the last needle falls

The Evergreen is bare and I don’t know what to do

The branches stretch out as as if asking for more needles

I haven’t the heart to tell them they were all gone

You are bare, my evergreen tree.

And there is nothing I can do.
