When our Earth spins

Parts of our Earth dim

In rain or shine

Our Earth always provides

People fight

People heal

But at the end of the day there is always light

For we are human, and we feel

Buildings shatter

The Earth shakes

We think of the things we’ve made together

Memories fade

Children are born

Immigrants came

And arrived on our shore

Other countries hate us

That’s okay

Our Earth is always there to protect us

Even if it happens thousands of miles away.

Big like an elephant

Or small like a mouse

A bottle across the world you sent

The cool wind blowing upon your blouse

In times of need

Or in times of hurt

What do people see

Do they see you as dirt?

No they don’t

They see you as you

At least, you know I do

What do you choose

Our Earth is here when you’re ready

Don’t put you clock on snooze

Wake up and help us make our planet amazing
