What does it mean to believe in your higher power,

the answer i do not know

Does it mean i have to follow the path of light through rain sleet and snow?

Or march in parades with banners held high telling stories of the babies that now can't cry?

Or read their words about weddings and feasts

or about how god feeds us to beasts?

Or preaching how satan is bad and god is good

and if i pray i will have a strong womanhood?

In the end it's cool to learn

it is not what i believe

i don't think this belief is a thread

i want to weave.
