A Day

It started on a crisp Autumn morning. I got out of bed and got ready for the day with a smile on my face. When I went downstairs, I caught a whiff of something delicous . . stepping inot the kitchen, I saw that my Mom made breakfast for the family! My sisters were already eating at the counter. My mom said "Come join us!" I ate slowly, savoring each bite.

Mom drove me and my sisters to school. It was the week after final exams and we got our tests back. . .I aced them all, even earning extra credit sections! My teahers all congratulated me and told me what a joy it was to have me in their classes. At lunch, I sat with all my best friends and we laughed the whole time.

Then, at the end of the day, I found out that there was no homework! My Mom picked us up and praised me for my grades. She told me how much she loved me. She cooked my favorite meal for dinner and me, her, my sisters and my Dad sat down and enjoyed it together. Even my friends came over, and we played games all evening until we were too tired to keep our eyes open.

When they went home, I got into my bed. My Mom and Dad hugges me. "Everything will be okay," they told me.

Then, I woke up.
