A Constant

time like a breeze

life constant yet hard to appease

even when begging on your knees,

yet we thrive

let negativity writhe

because we are alive

one could say an unstoppable force

with no certain singular course.

collect one self down to the core

as peace is what we restore

yet we always want more,

we crave natures lore

we as humanity

negate profanity

we as a single, we as a whole

our planet will pay the only toll

heart like an ember like a burning coal

so as we live we take the keys

as we move time is like a breeze
